This black and white ink drawing portrays an aged man with a beard lost in deep contemplation within a futuristic spaceship setting. (Gel Fineliner on A5 Paper) You have to be very careful what names you give your fantasy creations. They might sound right in your own mind, but others will read them very differently. For example: He's a Kakka-Du Knight. They're known to roam the galaxy, righting wrongs and bringing peace and justice to the far reaches of space, because that's what the Kakka-Du do!
"Spaced-Out" (0.18 technical pen on 120mm x 35mm card) and "Medusa" (HB pencil on 125mm x 42mm card). Another two simple images drawn on pieces of off-cut card that make great bookmarks.
Capturing the spaces in between and amplifying them with a play on exposure and contrast to bring forth the beauty I see within the layers. This particular play is a flower I saved from a very special event I attended. I then dried the petals of this beauty. These special petals make their way to various projects, including oil and acrylic paintings and resin on canvas. More to come :)
#14 Inktober 2023 Prompt number 26 "Remove" - I drew this picture during the #inktober event for an individual's artspace on magma.com (the word prompt to draw was "remove" for day 26). I came up with the idea to draw an RPG warrior battling a giant mosquito during his adventure. He is using OFF brand mosquito repellent spray to remove the enemy from this path (but he took damage and later is removing a Band-Aid from his arm). Drawn directly on magma.com live using an iPad pro (no pressure sensitivity and no Ai).
