A nap.
I am testing some new papers and colors to do more illustrations for the Minotaur book as I read it.
This book is called The Minotaur Takes His Own Sweet Time by Steven Sherrill. Can't wait to start it. https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce6SbuaOTqo/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
A small watercolour painting honouring the Jacobite tradition. Imagery taken from the descriptions on this website: https://thehistoryjar.com/2018/03/07/jacobite-symbols-decoding-treachery-or-loyalty/
Whenever I make an artwork. I start with a random image and just start flowing while I edit. I belief that this will lead the result to deflect the state of my mind. In this case it was a photo of me and my cat. Take a moment a find the message this picture has to offer you. I hope that I was able to add something to your flow of thoughts.
Just finalised this #kingfisher. I'd like to thank @ilanhorn for his kind permission to draw from his photograph gallery http://www.ilanhorn.photography
This is a picture of the lady at the cash register who bags produce at the produce store. She let me take her picture and I painted from it. I gave the picture to her but she wishes it had been done before she gained weight. : (
