I have had an ongoing project called Hybrid Mythologies. Inspired by stories and mythological creatures, tales from different traditions and parts of the world, I have been playing with emergent stories, characters and creatures that incorporate different elements. It is really a kind of spontaneous, intuitive journey and play of associations - oftentimes surprising to myself in what emerges. This year I am planning to publish an artbook entitled Hybrid Mythologies and if it all goes according to plan, it should be done some time in May. I will post process from this book.

This here is a doodle-cluster of characters. I started off doodling one character and let its outline define the next one until I filled up the shape.

I love making these scenes. Its fun. I would like to think I did a good job with the shadow and lighting.

For this day, I decided to draw one of the Super Moshi characters, but not just a simple hero, but Hermitty Ginger (by the way, I also tried to draw what Katsuma's modern design would look like with the Super Moshi outfit), our companion in mission 6 of season 1, but I didn't want to draw him alone, so I also included him with Penny

For Junefairytale's 15th, today it's all about birds. For this day, I decided to make a father bird flying in the blue sky with his son ☁️

For day 14 of Junefairytale, today is all about dreams. For this day, I decided to make Koya take a little nap while dreaming in a beautiful room filled with comfy pillows

For Junefairytale Day 13, it's a dragon's turn. For this day, I decided to make the little prehistoric lizard in a dragon costume because I think it looks adorable

For June 9th Fairytale, today is the day for a cranberry. For this day, I decided to make Pinkerton eating some cranberries that are both sour and delicious

For Day 7 of Junefairytale, today is all about pillows. For this day, I decided to make The Little Moshlings Koala taking a little nap on top of a room full of pillows

For Junefairytale Day 6, today is the elf's turn. For this day, I decided to make a little elf resting so that when November and December come, he'll have energy to work..

For the 5th of June Fairytale, today it's all about cookies. For this day, I decided to make this little hamster literally called cookie eating a little cookie

I made this after geting back into the undertale fandom, and realized that it would be cool to see an AU of both Undertale and Gravity Falls together!
