Needed a mini-breather after a busy spell! Good to be back at it. :)

I got inspired by the thought of make a art piece based on paint guide tape

This is a new series of contemporary paper collages realised using a mix and match of new and vintage paper. I used: • Vintage paper ephemera (old postcards, paper cuts, portraits) • Recycled paper from envelopes • Brand new paper cuts • For the decorations I mostly used marker pens, stickers and washi tape.

Pasted in my art journal. I had to "stretch" the 98 lb canson xl watercolor paper first. I'm new to this, but finally got it right. started to "buckle" a bit while painting then flattened back out when dry, but kept it taped down till dry. lots to lea
