Here's something I drew in 10 minutes this morning. I was on call waiting for work to start and my anxiety went through the roof. Not sure why, but it did. My friend asked me if this sketch was a sound, what would it be? I said static. That's what things feel like most of the time: all-consuming, loud, abrasive static.
My idea was to make a textile pattern for fabric printing. Drawn on paper with a micron pen .005, colored with pens then put into Photoshop for some color manipulation, blurring of lines and pattern arrangement.
The challenging thing with just using pen is that I can't paint over a mistake. I usually redo a face more than once. I didn't mean to make their face so stoic, it makes them look like a statue.
I made this a week ago when i was thinking about fond school memories I had when I was much more younger,it makes me feel sad and nostalgic how those days are long gone,where I use to had fun in the playground,when I use watch movies in class along with the teacher last but not least when I use to go to field trips, Sidney's outfit is based on an actual outfit I had worn when I was in the 5th grade

Hey Everyone, since i'm new here I thought I break the ice with this little picture I made a couple of Months ago, as the picture suggests, yes I just turned 30. I been trying to get my art round in several websites, not that my work's amazing... Then I stumbled across this site and thought I give it a shot. I painted Van Gogh's irises on my kithen cupboard door. We needed to put a door on the space where the microwave used to sit but we couldn't get one to match the rest of the cupboards so we got a piece of board and I painted it with acrylic paints and varnished it.

Is it art? I’m not sure but it took some color coordination. I made this while watching an E-learning video. Goes to show how much I care about the busy work that teachers are assigning.
