A5 pen and ink for Night of 1000 drawings

This creation of mine is Adeline. She is from Paris,France in the year 1838. Made with watercolors (Jazperstardust, Rublev,Daniel Smith, etc...) and a bit of pencil (just the outline). Made her on my new Arches watercolor paper.

I've been getting questions about how I create my art here, so I figured I would upload some progress pieces. Here's the first one! I was listening to the Westworld season 2 soundtrack which always makes me want to draw Harvey (for some reason). I wasn't really practicing anything in particular, just doodling. It was fun to just let my hand wander, though I think the sketch was much better than the inking I did.

I have started keeping a digital sketchbook. This is the first page.

These are my drawings for Inktober 2018. I had set these rules for myself; Making a drawing every day with a dip pen within 15 minutes. Some succeeded, others failed completely, but I enjoyed the challenge!

I took an hour or two and drew some owls while watching the 7th Harry Potter movie. One thing I love about natural objects is how they often remind me of handmade objects. Like these acorns--the caps look just knit caps. So I scanned in a handful and used them as the basis for this sketch.

Sadly the shop i went removed the birthday month discount but still, I bought a ton of art supplies.
