Sketch of a joke Dark Crystal OC, "SkekKaren". Someone pointed out that ALL of the Skeksis are "Karens" and okay, point taken! Haha. Based her look on Queen Victoria and a Patoo.

Many men (and likely many women, too) feel something like the following after getting a divorce: Either "I'll never be good enough again." OR Either "Nobody will ever be good enough again."

My favourite Lappish activity - moving with these traditional skis through the snow. Sometimes you might be crashing into trees or into each other and sometimes you might loose a binding and sink into the deep snow, but it’s always fun and exciting.

‭Psalms 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. //There are 6 Sundays leading up to Good Friday. In observation of Lent, I will be posting 6 works inspired by the theme. This is for the 1st Sunday of Lent.

Gold and Jade are especially favored among the Chinese. The gold ginko leaves (ginko trees are also know for its longevity) across a background of green is to symbolize abundance in health and wealth for the new year. There are 15 days to the Lunar New Year celebration but typically the first 3 days are the most celebrated. In celebration of the festive season, this is a post for Day 3 and this will be my last post for the celebration.

Capturing the gradual process of turning grapes to wine in the form of color transition and solid-liquid state transition compositions

I MADE A NEW OC, NO CLUE WHATS HIS NAME IS BUT HE REALLY JUST...SEEMES SAD ALL THE TIME (made him during school cause my little brain can't pay attention in school)

A graphic design project from school where we created icons based off of a theme we chose. I chose spooky.

"Nobody knows why he is here, someday he just appeared. Some say that he roams this realm and is in constant search for specific girl.He is supposed to be her guardian I guess.I hope he finds her, because his presence here terrifies me"-Villager of Groza

The original sketch came from the prompt ‘organized’ which immediately made me think of my label maker. It grew from there and I first posted it on what happened to be the 25th anniversary of the film Practical Magic! Let me know if you spot the homages…

"much of the to-do of life is like building sand castles on the beach. we build them up, and then we take them down. OR we build them up, and the waves of life and time take them down. life returns us to our humble origins."

A character design for a kids book!

Kings crowning. Made me think of the animated Robin Hood by Disney, where the crown was to big for the head of lion John, but it held on his ears.

Thoughtful comics by author/illustrator Dale Rogers. I'm retiring from an 18-year career as full-time faculty in Multimedia Design. It's time to write and draw. Follow me at https://edrawingboard.com.

Somehow the tree trunk looks like a female figure to me. I'm not sure if I really like this illustration, but my imagination plays here a lot. I could draw a bit lighter background to make more contrast for the tree trunk. What do you think?

Sketch of little pups

It's a quick digital recreation of my last gouache painting. And I don't like it very much. - I had trouble finding a good brush for painting leaves on the top of the tree. - There is no magic like in traditional art. - I didn't enjoy drawing as much as painting with gouache. - I couldn't peel off the tape when I was done.

This is the first attempt at drawing my wife’s feet. I thought I would try to draw her feet because they are so hard to draw (and they’re cute).

In real it's a meteor shower. But our imagination allows us to create fantastic images. I love stars. I love landscapes. So it's a final illustration of these both with a fine whimsy touch :) Day 5 of #whimsicalByMamaminia art challenge.

[OC] Splash Art made by our artist Bruxo Roxo (Isaque Freires) for the BitBrawl game.

This scene was inspired by my walk home from work on Monday evening. The Moon was already high up. The weather was windy. The clouds were passing by fast, giving me a glimpse of the Moon here and there. A pretty ominous scene, if you ask me. Size: 2x2 inches.

A friendly passerby with groceries.

The Flower Power Stencil is the perfect floral henna design for the front and back of hands, but it can be used anywhere you'd prefer. #hennastencil #hennatattoo #hennadesign #henna
