Practice using a photo of a reindeer with the funniest face I took in Norway

While "piggy-backing" at a friend's watercolor class this afternoon the subject of mushrooms came up. This is my quick rendering of a mushroom in Procreate on my first gen iPad using my Sensu stylus. Shadows will be addressed in next week's class but unfortunately I will be gone. I definitely need more practice with shadows.

Fado is a typical music from Portugal. Alfama is one of the best places in to hear it. And of course the famous portuguese guitar is always present.

I tried to make a campfire setting, with a cozy tent, the warm fire eliminating the night, the trees in the background and of course, the stars the the sky for perfect stargazing. The purpose was to create a scene, where someone would be comfortable, just lying there, enjoying everything.

I wish I hadn’t tried to capture sunset on the water. I think it would have been better just different tones of blue. Next time ;)
