Progression 2 of 5. In this one I added shading to his face and neck and scetched out the hair. His ears were a bit tricky too since they are as distinctive as his eyes.

The topic is poisonous. I went with an Io moth caterpillar. I've also hidden a 1 in the composition. Spot the 1!

It's the creature painting a wall

This is one of my favorite pieces. This was inspired by Repo! The Genetic Opera, but it means a lot more to me as well. Feelings of desperation and also a feeling of self control that really isn't there. Forcing myself to smile and all the while, feeling hollow inside.
