A portrait of my cat Linus, who has the sweetest nature, a lot of love for his brother cat Rex, and a lingering case of kitty gingivitis from his days as a stray. Derwent Drawing Pencils on pastel paper.
Mostly wet on wet technique and then wet on dry for the white paint. I used a Mont Marte Round 2 brush and Reeves watercolor paint tubes.
Also concocted my very own magic watercolor paint that made the black background somewhat similar to gouache.
I learned this painting from one of the best artists named Maria Raczynska.
Heh just a quick photo of a comic page I was working on- it's for my own personal project and stories. Also first attempt at drawing that guys design... Like I always had the idea and concept, but I never finished it on paper before. - I work traditionally...so I really gotta be careful to not mess up much lol
