Acrylic on canvas. 50cm x 70cm. This started as a purely experimental abstract piece, but evolved to include both abstract and surreal (i.e. representational) elements.

as an artist I manifest my emotions through my doodles. I was going through a rough spot with my mental health back in 2016. This doodle would always light me up. I hope it does the same for you

Mostly wet on wet technique and then wet on dry for the white paint. I used a Mont Marte Round 2 brush and Reeves watercolor paint tubes. Also concocted my very own magic watercolor paint that made the black background somewhat similar to gouache. I learned this painting from one of the best artists named Maria Raczynska.

He loses himself in his own fur, when he’s utterly relaxed. Touch that fluffy belly so casually exposed, though, and you’re likely to get punctured. He doesn’t know he’s irresistibly soft.

This is one of the pages of my handmade picture book (made w/ watercolor paper, watercolor paint, color pencils, and pen & ink). I really wanted to focus on illustrating the beauty of the architecture and vibrant colors of the buildings.

Just doing some fashion practice by using some image references from pinterest.

I did this one in India ink and colored it with Winsor & Newton drawing inks. I love the vibrance and transparency of illustration inks, but don't use them too often because the colors are fugitive

As a break from my traditional art pursuits, I took on this project for a customer. It was such a fun challenge. I do like to stretch my boundaries.
