This is the very first charcoal portrait I ever made. I think I spent about 25 hours on this piece over the course of a week. Portrait Model is a Japanese singer (Gackt) and a reference photo was used. Size is 18x24 inches.
Eve is a continuation on my series of portraits. This piece represents my maturing technique and style as I begin to experiment with creamy consistencies. The painting displayed my ability to capture facial expressions.
My trip to Paris, France influenced my painting style. I was struck by the realism and drama depicted in various compositions, but also the lack of diversity. This piece is named "Eve" questioning whether the holy subjects depicted in European art were, in fact, part of a different race altogether.
A late Christmas edition, but I suppose it's fine because it's still Christmastide. And according to the story, the wise men didn't actually arrive at the time of Jesus's birth so the lateness has some historical basis.

But it's bit if an downgraded remake of last time an few days ago even I took 4-5 days aka almost an week to draw this I started it on oct 13th and finished it on oct 16th and I hated than last junior I made last time and its better then the the 2023 ver from dev art era.

"Pisces Koi" is a bold and intricate black-and-white ink piece that blends symbolism with fluid motion. I would like to not care about the pain, allow it to pass and let it flow without fighting it, which is perhaps the only way to let it go. Then I will understand that if I give myself trust, I will be able to remember and I will feel in my heart how many lights I found every time I felt lost.
