This was a bit difficult prompt. I dont want to draw just brick of wall or similar. So i choose to use photo where my wife is with ”brick” of ice as reference
A lady at work asked me to make an elephant for her as a gift for a friend. I sketched a bunch of different options and finally came up with this. Watercolor on drawing paper with marker.
(Gel Fineliner on A5 Paper) A "Twart" is someone who tries far too hard to be an artist. Each carries the metaphorical book: "The ABC Book on How To Be An Artist" Ticking off various points they think will make them such. You can usually tell who they are by the cheesy, inoffensive work they produce and a false, bohemian, facade. Because they think that's what artist are like.
I didn't know numbats are a thing! Came across this amazing little endangered marsupial when I was trying to decide which N animal to paint. They eat only termites (hence the recipes ;)). One of my high school friends went on a family trip and returned to find his girlfriend obsessed with a dead bird. She had found it, extensively photographed it, and kept it in a box. He broke up with her. I cannot, for the life of me, get over this story, even though it happened almost 20 years ago. I want to hunt this girl down and ask her approximately one million questions.
