First time I draw a woman's face and I don't have the feeling the result it's an androgyny man. Can't say what's the difference, but this time it worked for me.
Pastel pencil study of the intertwined hands of the Ambrogio Borghi sculpture, Chioma di Berenice. Faber Castell pastel pencils, Black and White Generals charcoal pencils on 9” x 12” Strathmore Toned Grey sketchbook paper.
This is the first page of my comic I am starting. Hopefully I can upload a couple times a week so that you can see the full story unfold and not have to wait too long. In this page the main character (Olly, who is a witch btw) sees a golden owl.
Trying my hand at some character design with the intention of eventually modeling it. Only the front view so far. Still have some painting to do to get rid of the rather "designy" black ink outline. Then on to the side view, then to POLYS!
"Whirlwind 28”, an original drawing. Micron pens on archival paper. Size: 5” x 7”. Title, signature, and date in the back of the drawing. This drawing is the 28th in a series of drawings posted over a period of 100 days. The original post date on this drawing was September 28, 2020.
There's a series, one of many, I've been slowly getting the motivation to work on. This character is one of a few. I'm going to working on facial expressions and then full body drawings.
