Taking a break from photo editing to get creative in other areas... Over the Beltane weekend, my girlfriend and I watched the British dub of Urusei Yatsura over on YouTube. Yes, I assure anyone not aware, such a thing exists and my word is it hilarious (but not for the easily offended! Oh and while, I'm here, may the 4th be with you :-)

Not sure if this what was meant for this weeks prompt, but I've been drawing a lot of eyes lately.

I often have weird dreams that inspire my artwork, and that one I had last night where I took over a jungle (or was it a forest? I don’t know) sure got me inspired.

It’s the stoner’s holiday today (4/20) so while I don’t partake in that kind of thing personally, am I going to make use of a pun for a drawing title regardless? Yes, yes I am… xD

Narwhal flavours, washi tape as always and a cheeky Cymera sticker to start my current sketchbook… this one entitled “All Fishes Are Weird”. One way to kill time during delays getting back home on the train back from London yesterday!

Finding random things to photograph on my photo jaunts is one thing but when you find abandoned Pokemon stickers to use for your art? Yes please!

Casually racing through it with all the drawings… hence why it’s new sketchbook time already, hahaha! As we leave spring behind, meet “Summer Eyes”.

Tried something I've never done before. Taped up a canvas for the eyes and teeth. Used acrylic markers. Definitely fun to do.

Banksia grandis is a banksia that is of medium height with large candles. The eyes contain seeds that come out with fire.

To bad neon hurts the eyes...

Yesterday’s Magnetic Fields gig and current affairs fuelled the flames for this one, as did pink dolphins.

Elephant sharks are a thing I’ve only just recently discovered (yes I know), and boy are they fun to draw! :-D

Today’s drawing gets it’s name from something I overheard someone declare at lunch yesterday afternoon. I’ve had kale often enough and yet, I’m not convinced it tastes *entirely* like grass... I could be wrong though. Thoughts?
