analog, cameras, drawing, pen and ink
I love these drawings, especially the polaroid.
Thanks @davidterrill_kc ... I actually did a whole series of these hand-drawn analog cameras back in 2008 and featured them in a gallery show during Art Basel Miami. I'll dig around and maybe post a few more.
I’d love to see them! @okat
aaaaww this is uber cuteee
I want that Polariod! I love your loose ink style.
@jimbradshaw Thanks bud, for so long I fought my untrained hand and perspective, but I'm slowly learning it's maybe what defines my work. The process of defining your own personal style is such a treacherous and exhausting path of self-doubt. Well, at least for me it was and still is.
I remember being there with my style development. It was a long road. I am still my own worst critic. It drives my wife crazy and sometimes me as well. I can get so stoked when finishing a piece. Other times I stroll through my stuff and yawn. Ah, the agony and ecstasy of being an artist.
I could really see these illustrations on ceramics/porcelain as a brooch for women.
@Flyingwall Ha! That's a cool idea.
The Polaroid would make a great t shirt illustration
@Rocketman2020 Thanks for the suggestion! Maybe I'll do that one day.
