For these Grahams Up the Tree drawings I used a Pilot Custom 823 with FA nib. This pen is legendary. It has a very soft nib and a giant vacuum filled tank of ink so you can write and draw for days.

Love the pen review, but what about the paper you are using? Seems like it has some tooth to it in the photo. Can you tell me about it?

@arthurkoestler Hi! Sorry for the slow response -- the paper is just HP Premium Choice Laserjet 32lb. Nothing special. Just... good for fountain pens and fast production work!
