@punka , thank you! - hard question to answer: I would say, it is a result of using very responsive tools with some degree of 'own live' like a brush dipped in ink on quite absorbent paper, and my habit to draw direct, without any pre drawing or marks. So I always have to live with what I have done and try to fit this best with the observed reality, which leads to slight distortions etc.. So you could say, I provoke the unsteadiness by my choice of tools and method, but in this (self)given setting I try to draw as straight as I can ...
