@tigger thanks. Do it, it will look different anyways, because you have your own line character. I'm happy to share the process: I layed down two shades of blue, washable felt pen on coldpress watercolour paper, then went over it with a waterbrush to make it bleed. Then drew the swirls with black ink and added some blue fineliner to finish it off. Have fun!
@tigger maybe you didn't give yourself enough time? It might look simple but it took a couple hours to do all the lines ans the size is only A5! My tip would be patience and get your drawing hand warmed up (except this kind of doodle IS your warmup, of course :D )
...as my daughter says. Watercolour on watercolour paper. Mixing all the greens was real fun. I enjoyed every minute of creating this piece. And, of course, the first person I showed it to, found some fault with it...
