This sketchbook is my therapist. Not this one specifically, but any single one small enough to fit in my pocket. I tell it everything, from quirky thoughts and funny notes to abstract concepts, drawings and positive reminders. Keep it analog folks… a doodle, sketch, writing, poem, or scribble every day helps to keep the brain fit and the thoughts flowing. ✏️
@JGale I would highly recommend small sketchbooks. It's very often where I get my quick ideas and doodles down on paper so I can expand on them later. It also relieves the pressure of perfection and allows you to focus on the idea behind the art. You could always refine at another time.
I've been mailing these quick, improvised, hand-drawn doodled envelopes out to random Instagram followers. I'll be doing more of them so follow me @doodlers and let's be friends.

Reminds me of Calder's mobiles. Might have to get a small sketchbook for those spur of the moment therapy doodles. Thanks.

@okat Thanks! Ordering a small sketchbook plus pens tonight. I'm seeing so many great pen drawings I want to give it a try.
