When You Can Fly

This piece was done in graphite. It took me about 6 hours over the course of a few days. I didn’t love how the rider turned out, but this was my first time drawing a rider so I’m not too upset about it ;) Let me know what you think! Constructive criticism is always appreciated! :)

I'm not a jumper so can a rider lift themselves up that high without stirrups? It still looks amazing though! Nice work!

@ReeceArt139 Thank you so much! Yes, surprisingly enough there are some riders that can. It takes a enormous amount of strength though. If you look up bareback jumping you will see some incredible photos of bareback jumpers.

much much better then the first one. now i understed what the problem was with the feet. there are deyails in the drawing (the hand on the bridle, the anatomy of the muscles ) that tell me you used some inspiration, maybe a photo over a light box? it's a good way to learn.
