A close friend recently lost their family pet, Joey. As a tribute gift, I did his portrait. I usually just draw people, so this presented quite the challenge for me. I have never attempted to draw animals/pets. Bic4 Ballpoint Pen, Sanrio Novelty 10 Colour Ballpoint Pen on Archival 8.5" x 11" paper

@arthurkoestler Thank you! That was the first time I've ever attempted to draw fur. I usually have a hard enough time drawing hair and hairstyles.

@JoerB I have 4 doges and two cats. We just sent our senior kitty to the rainbow bridge. Her name was Pepsi and she was 14 years old, she will be missed very much. They are family
