I mostly use Procreate on the iPad, but I'm definitely willing to try Fresco. I've already got it downloaded, just need to play around with it. What is it you like over Procreate?
I love this. And it looks just like ink and watercolour. I have only ever been a traditional artist, but am curious about working on the iPad. Which would you think is easier to learn? Procreate or Fresco?
@zom18 @OKAT Thanks guys. Procreate is great! I prefer Fresco because I like the brush engine better, and the ease of taking things back and forth between Fresco & Photoshop via Creative Cloud. Fresco has Kyle Webster's brush libraries available, so there's no need to ever buy any brushes. Huge library of amazing tools. But yeah both are good, both are fully capable tools!
I drew these guys with a Pilot Custom 823 FA and Platinum Carbon Black ink. The FA nib has a good drawing width on watercolor paper - one of my favorites. It's a soft nib but I don't use the line variation, just some nice shock absorption with each downstroke. The Carbon Black ink is out-of-this-world good, though being pigmented I fear keeping it in too many pens.

I did the cover art for Sankofa's new album "Glyde Drexler." Check it out at sankofa.bandcamp.com & Spotify!
