    Thank you! I love drawing with just plain ordinary No. 2 pencils. (Oh, should add that the stir fry we made with these was tasty, too!)

    @JoerB Thanks. I've been a bit out of touch for a while....several months, in fact. My business has been BOOMING during the pandemic. I see that you have been wildly busy drawing. Great work.

I have dragged this typewriter around for more than 50 years. I found it in an antique store when I was in college. It's still fully useable, except that it's REALLY hard to find ribbons. Basically, it's just another object to dust. But it is a beautifully made object. The basic shapes and perspective were blocked in with a 2H pencil, then I used a Sakura 005 micron pen to do the contour drawing.

I asked my husband (who is our Covid-period grocery shopper as I am high risk) to bring home a fruit to draw. He came home with a dragon fruit. For those who don't know this interesting edible, it's from a cactus. There are two species: the Asian species is white inside, the Central American variety is shocking pink (see photo). Great in smoothies or when nicely ripe (as this one was) it's tasty eaten out of the skin with a spoon.
