Crowned Leviathan

I wanted to draw a crowned animal with a crest on top of its head. Originally , this was colored with colored pencils but I didn't like how it looked so I tried to save it by painting over it with acrylic paint.

Well, I hope you like it better now. ^.^ I think the texture is one of this piece's strengths, along with the vibrant colors.

@TechnoHeart I agree ^^ It turned out acceptable for the submission prompt so I am not disappointed. I am sad to say I have had drawings in the past that started out bad and became even worse by the end. XD Those can be hard to swallow sometimes.
