I don't really know their music but Machinehead was the first thing that came to mind when I saw your drawing. I related that to a song by Bush of the same title that started playing in my head. But then I googled Machinehead and found that there was a band...and thus an album cover idea materialized. They look to be a heavy metal band from the 90's...not my cup of tea but who knows maybe they are worth a listen. BTW, this is still my favorite submissions of yours. For some reason, I just really really like everything about it. Does it have an actual orange background or is that added in post processing? Have you ever thought about selling one of your submissions? I'm not really an art buyer but I have really taken to this particular piece. I'd love to frame and display it in my house. You can email me at jan.kappers@gmail.com if you want to discuss a sale, or I think there is some way to sell through doodleaddicts. I know the art process can be very personal and not made for monetary gain so please do not take offense at my offer. No worries either way...just a fleeting idea that doesn't necessarily need to land but it would be nice acquire something officially. Then it has a proper back story.
@PsylentSound Hey yea no direct messaging here; I'm starting to post on Instagram but anyway thanks for the compliment and misc band info. I actually scanned this at high resolution and made an enlarged print for a family member and I'm in the process of setting things up to sell online (so many options) and this gives me motivation! I plan to start with 6 - 8 art prints and see how it goes. So I drew this back in 2019 and it is black sharpie on orange colored paper (pretty thick but I cant find the info right now). I like this also; it seems balanced / symmetrical? You mentioned the band Bush; that brings back memories, silver chair etc. I was a big Iron Maiden fan as well as the artwork and Eddie got his name because he was initially called "the head" but their British accent was so strong, ppl thought they were saying "Eddie!" That's an interesting fact about Eddie...I never knew that. I have a very small presence on IG but I did follow you there as Psylentsound. There are some other pieces that you have posted there that are similar to this one. I really like them. You have a very unique style. Good luck with the online sales. I think it should be titled "Machine Head" like the band. Could be one of their album covers.

BTW, I think Deep Purple had an album cover named "Machinehead" so it may ultimately be them that deserves credit for the reference.
