Comforting Mandala

What's more comforting than a summer day with butterflies flitting and bumblebees tumbling amonst the flowers in the meadow? My husband felt that blue was most comforting for him. Me, I liked the salmon. The mandala is drawn in Spirality...which takes the designated "wedge" and repeats it around the circle. Colored in Photoshop (given there is a 20 min. time given for this challenge---otherwise, I would have colored it by hand).

This is beautiful @ilga and guess what? the 20mins limit was a typo. Mandalas definitely deserve more time. I've corrected it to 45mins. For future reference, our time suggestions are just there to keep the prompts approachable, you are always welcome to spend more or less time on your artwork.

@okat Thanks. Glad you like it. I shall bear the time recommendations in mind for the next time I attempt a challenge. I had thought of the time limit as an equalizing factor. Little tight on time this week, so I shall let this go with the Photoshop tinting...which I think worked out OK.

@Rayedrgn Thanks so much for your kind comment. I like to draw and try to do it everyday (at least until my semi-retirement).

Lovely Mandala, I love both colours but will go along with your hubby and choose blue ;)

@Bampi Thanks. I think that you are part of the overall consensus, I suspect. BTW if you want to make mandalas, Spirality is free for Windows and their are similar programs on the Apple platform. They are easy, fun, and pretty to maek!

@Ilga thank you, I'll take that on board and download it. Windows version.
