Pee-wee Herman Landscape

Rest in Power, Paul Reubens. I watched a lot of Pee-wee Herman as a young kid. As an adult, Paul Reuben's collection of erotic gay art made him interesting to me but misunderstood by many people. Any way you take him, he was funny and made many people laugh. I painted a scene from Pee-wee's Big Adventure, a classic Pee-wee movie from 1985. I love the California scenery and am happy with how the landscape turned out.

Yeah! I totally remember this crazy movie! That rich kid with the pool in his house. Lol I'd love to see that scene painted.he had like a bunch of gold chains! And your colors make this make do a double take to see if it was digital art. Wow! What brand and medium is used here?

@natwelles I use Rebelle 7 Pro. Rebelle is the only digital art tool that I have used that mimics real painting. You can mix pigments, the watercolor engine is powerful, the oils have impasto, and the canvas interacts with the paint. It's an awesome program if you want a traditional look. Thank you so much. I love the nostalgia. Maybe you should try tackling that scene you remember.
