Too gorgeous, as always! I messed about with a similar idea -- one of my Savannah cats in Victorian smoking jacket. I've been practicing with my .03 & .05 but gave it up in favor of a straight-up portrait --- in graphite. There is no way I have anything close to the fluid control I love so much in your drawings,
@wolfenbear I too do frequent animal portraits! I have been using fineliners for about 36 years so I've had a lot of practice! I can't see tones very well in pencil! I only use a dark soft 4b to do the rough outlines, anything else I can't see properly. Using a black line is perfect for me. I've been doing the Pets in Portraits for about 15 years. You see companies putting pets in paintings now alot but I've been doing it for years!
My favourite commission so far! Took me a while this one but so pleased with the finished piece. Didn't want to let her go! Drawn in black and white line using fine liners.

This was so enjoyable to do. Hand drawn using black 0.03, 0.05 and 0.1 fine liners on A4 medium cartridge paper. 22.5 hours of work and made my eyes hurt!
