these are so lovely - you did an amazing job and exactly what @BAMart said, so photo realistic with the smallest of details that make it that much more! beautiful!!! :-)
@artbykurtedwards Happy Holiday's to you! :-) And thank you so much, I'll definitely get started on some more - I'm bouncing between charcoal realism, doodles, and watercolors/gouache, haha! Never enough time it seems to get all the ideas on paper! Right back atcha, I absolutely love all the watercolor portraits you're creating and they're inspiring!!! :-) Can't wait to see your next piece!!

Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power fanart. Theo imagined as the Mouth of Sauron with Mount Doom and the Eye of Sauron in the background. I went for a painterly feel but a decent amount of detail. Lemme know if you like it.

I grew up drawing and illustrating, but 20+ years later, it hit me with force. I haven't looked back since. These are the first two practice sketches I made when I decided finally that I want to be an artist.

These are so beautifully detailed. I especially admire how you did the ridges on the yellow flower petals. It's almost photo realistic.

These are all so beautiful! Well done! Flowers are really challenging for me. lol

@Rayedrgn ugh, I agree, it's the hard/soft lines, having definition and light while also being soft and delicate.

@BriVining Thanks, Bri. Happy Holidays. You should do more doodles; the heart render wasn't enough to satisfy me, so I need more. MORE!!!
