I've been saying that for years. Very often I'm much happier with the results when I use less expensive markers and brushes.

Thanks for commenting! I think a lot of humbug is present in trade and that includes fashion of course, but also art supplies. It makes sense when the SAME companies as make expensive markers etc. produce in large qualtities to be sold cheaply. Yes, I know there can be differences in pigments etc. e.g. cheap chalk has more filler and less pigment. I just shop around a bit and the stuff coming e.g. from China is usually just as good.
