I don't know how anyone else deals with the paper war that seems to fight its way onto every available surface! I draw A3 size and store them in display files, but not until they are finished so they hang around for days sometimes. Giving a series a name helps me to locate digital images later so the new ones are named 'candy' for no particular reason. I have a cellar full of paintings and all the walls are full, so drawing on paper seemed like a good idea. I am going to publish some mandalas, but I want to group files to save all the uploading. I've used up my quota for today so maybe it's mandala day tomorrow! I'm not sure if mandalas really qualify as doodles since the design has to be created and drawn accurately, but the contents are doodles so.....Thanks for looking!

That's a good idea! I'm starting to scan old work that I'd like to keep and hadn't really figured out the best way to organize them. This is a good idea.

@faith1110 I don't have it in me to throw away my doodles and drawings on paper, no matter how insignificant they are. Even though I scan the majority of them, I still keep my paper drawings for days, weeks, years. I have drawers full of them just stacked and stacked, from random sheets to full pages. I'm a legitimate doodle hoarder :)

Thanks for joining in! I never throw drawings away and force myself to doodle/struggle to the end of those I think should be scrapped - sometimes the results are not too bad and sometimes I'm quite surprised that they end up quite nice since nothing is planned, so I have no anticipation of results. Even my tiniest doodles from the short time I thought I should do the Zentangle thing are filed so that I can look at them and I show them to anyone who is prepared to browse, so that they get an airing now and again. I took a couple of volumes of A3 drawings on vacation with me this summer and was gratified by the awed gasps and startled looks. It's very hard to get anyone to actually try doodling who doesn't doodle by instinct. I know. I used to run a chorus and wanted to get them interested in the creation of something out of nothing, hoping it would improve their singing!!!! I provided paper, pens, instruction and ideas, but only one had any talent (and was incidentally the only one who had any real singing talent) and I gave up when the women started to come late so as to avoid the doodling! Then I started to wonder if they thought they were baring their souls. Then I realized that they probably were. I got very depressed FOR THEM.....
