@robotsketches Thanks so much for commenting and liking my work! I wanted to create something with an eerie atmosphere and I thought the idea of a child's face looking into a doll house and seeing someone would be interesting from both perspectives. I originally wanted the silhouette to look freighted but I couldn't find the right one to imitate and went with a sad one instead.
From a psychological stand point it could be said that it is a drawing depicting a state of trauma and stress and feeling trapped without control in a chaotic environment while under the surveillance of another.
@Rayedrgn Well you captured the stand point well. I think many can relate with it. I am living in a similar situation like this kid but I didn't give up. I hope you don't feel this way.
@robotsketches I feel many people are facing and have faced difficult times in their lives that are challenging and distressing. What matters however is the person who emerges from the darkness and how it changes you to be who you are tomorrow.
Whoa... this is phenomenal work! The thought process behind this is really creative but what I'm so drawn to is the crazy texture everywhere. So many shades of red and fine gray scratches... no idea how you did that. I think I went into a trance just staring at it. It's creepy and unsettling for sure. This is something you'd see in a horror movie where detectives break into a house and see this mural in a trashed room... or the teacher contacts the parents to come to the school and discuss their child's drawing - haha I freaking love it! XD
Just something random I decided to do giving myself a break from the regular studies. I like the way the background came out as it gives off kind of a weird static or "noise" like from old movie reels lol

@Rayedrgn Agreed. And perhaps with some help and guidance goes a long way.

Really nice coloring. You definitely captured the horror aspect you were going for.

Really good execution on a dark subject! I felt being trapped the moment I saw the image. Really well done! And a great explanation.

that is an intriguing piece, looking into the dollhouse and based on the dolls position something isn't going to well.
