    Beautiful little bird ♡ I love watching parrots hold things in their beaks, so this painting is 300x more adorable to me

    @N0rmanMalfatto Thank you. The yellow-tailed black cockatoo is a rare find, the only place they are common is the Hunter Valley region. I have spotted them in the blue mountains twice, one on the Great Western Highway and a flock of them in a town called Wentworth Falls.

    @BlueRose2001 Wow! I love rare bird sightings. I'm still waiting to see something rarer than a few local hawks and that one crane that landed on my school's big sport's field.

    @N0rmanMalfatto cool. Rare bird bird sightings in Australia is all about season and location. A lot of birds migrate from all over the place and may not stay for the whole year. I'm my town, from about November to March, we have little king fishers near the river, by April there gone. They left early this year because of the drought and the river just got to low.
