It's a Smashing Pumpkin Mixtape from End of the 90ties. Casette was already on the descending branch, but my car was to old for use of CDs, so I recorded it with my sony double cassette deck, which I got on my 18th birthday. ("1979" is the Smashing Pumpkins' is one of the highest-charting singles of that band)

Hahaa! Haven't gone too deep with Smashing Pumpkins but love that song. It's one of those songs that don't get worn out no matter how much you listen to it. But I am probably older than you so I can guarantee that 1979 was not on that 1979 mix tape. Man I miss being able to make mixtapes and give them to friends. The newer technology is great and all, but it's missing something.
