Hi! I'm a maker, artist and super curious dude who likes cats.
Probably one of my favorite collages. Obsessed with hands.
Lots of correction fluid.
The background is made out of an old notebook I cut up and glued with modpodge. My obsession with hands continues.
my big handmade scrap books are the place were I go crazy. I think sometimes I arrive at cool places.
I found an old book of sheet music. I think it makes for a nice background. The marks are simple here but I like the overall big gestures.
Simple shapes but I was happy with the composition. I also love the brown color of the cardboard as a background.
I like it when I strike a nice combination of delicate features and bold marks. I suppose the simple palette helps in this case.
making lots of marks with colored pencils on my big sketchbook
note the sewn edge on the left side.
Part of a series of black and white drawings on birch plywood. I took some liberties with horns and the look of the face. Don't consider this a realistic bison.
Perhaps one of the darker ideas with this series. I was thinking that the universe is trying to look at its own hands but has no way of seeing them.
A strange tentacled god that appears in my sketchbook dreams sometimes.
Another one for the hexagon series.
Inspired by my cat Shiro. But with no tail and wearing a mask.
I like weird faces. This is Mister Plant Face.
A small version of the year of the dog drawing I posted some time ago.
A birch plywood hexagon. Painted by hand. I wonder about the masks we wear.
This piece was part of a collective show at Giant Robot Store in Los Angeles celebrating the Year of the dog. More details on my website: https://wolfcatworkshop.com/index.php/portfolio/hexagon-dog-for-giant-robot/
