A sketchbook spread where I played with positive negative space with a limited color palette

Created for a family member to be displayed in an exhibition of art and photography.

I felt like doing something relatively quick with my Copic markers. This is the view from my front door. Not a very scenic neighborhood, but the sky has been beautiful this week.

I’m not sure what my inspiration for this is. I basically just started painting the sky and worked forward. It took me about an hour to finish.

Is it art? I’m not sure but it took some color coordination. I made this while watching an E-learning video. Goes to show how much I care about the busy work that teachers are assigning.
