Got to work early today so I stayed in the car and drew the truck parked across my car.

Cactus inspired watercolor washes in my sketchbook. Kept this one very lose to see what happens. Watercolor is always full of surprises.

Public art show "Cruisin the Square" for our town, Pontiac, IL. Local artists were given a fiberglass car or truck to alter as they wished. I turned mine into what might happen if I journaled on my car as I traveled Route 66.

For these Grahams Up the Tree drawings I used a Pilot Custom 823 with FA nib. This pen is legendary. It has a very soft nib and a giant vacuum filled tank of ink so you can write and draw for days.
