I just draw stuff and hope for the best.
I specialize in doodling, flora fauna, illustration, nature, painting, pen and ink, portraits, watercolor.
Finito. Coconut halves.
A piece that I made for one of the coordinators at my art group. It's an in joke. I just have a few finishing touches and then it is complete.
Finished scribbly self portrait...unless I decide to paint it, that is.
Finished version of La Luna. The picture doesn't do the colours justice.
Pen drawing, ready to be painted with watercolour.
Yet another self portrait. Whenever I am questioning my artistic abilities, I draw a self portrait to remind myself that I can draw but that I just need to familiarise myself with the subject matter.
A quick painting I made for my niece's birthday.
I painted this as a birthday card for my nephew. It isnt the best sky I've ever painted but it is my first go at Jupiter...so. And before anyone says anything: a) Yes, Jupoter does have rings, b) Yes, I know they're only faint, but c) Gimme a break.
An unfinished, scribbly self portrait in pen.
The first rule of art club... I made this for an art therapy group that I attend. I decided to create it after a conversation during an art session; a private joke.
A digital edit of my Beach Baby watercolour painting.
I painted the background in watercolour. The self portrait was a separate pencil sketch. After a bit of mucking around with them both on my phone, I came up with this.
In case you're wondering, I have septum piercings, which is what the protruding part is, near my nose.
A few stars and moon highlights to add.
The hair needs some work before I can say that this is finished. It's the only part that I'm not happy with.
Edit: I fixed the hair but made the face worse, and ended up ruining the painting. So. There you go.
I keep painting on my sketch pad and not watercolour paper, which means the paper warps when drying. Hence the face being slightly wobbly.
Another work in progress. Another picture of little me.
I've got a fair way to go with this one, but I'm happy with how it's going.
A ballpoint pen doodle with a background photographed at Great Yarmouth beach.
My second attempt with acrylics.
I have a long way to go but I'm happy with how it's progressing.
