I Love to Draw usually just in black and white with pen and paper. I haven't had any classes and feel that I need to learn new techniques so I thought I'd join an art community to see other's works, styles and techniques. I'd like to make coloring books and paper dolls.

Here is my submission to the 10th anniversary Plushform show at Rotofugi Gallery. I was invited by Shawn @shawnimals to participate in this fun show. He is the creator of the Plushform DIY plush figure being customized by 40 artists at Rotofugi, a designer toy store gallery in Chicago. The original Plushform show was in 2008. I was waiting for their official announcement before posting my final so I could link people to the site for more info. I was told they are working on it and will announce soon. This will be for sale at the show.

"She missed her stop". A drawing I did based on a character made on a certain internet forum. This is the first time I used a photograph as an environment for my doodles, and it charmed me enough to want to do more of them. Tried sewing this guy to some colorful paper. I am not that bad at sewing, BUT the sewing machine is from 1950 and doesn't work very well, but I think the imperfections makes it look cool.

Everyday with Aspergers is a storm of overwhelm - some good, some bad, and some painful. This was an "intuitive" painting with tons of layers, and no preplanning (what?!). I used acrylic paints, post markers, and pencils - I think it shows the exhaustion and overstimulation really well.
