I'm a female human of somewhat advanced age living in a tiny mountain town with my dog. I’ve made a living as a web developer for over 20 years. I only started drawing and painting two years ago, but I work hard at it and have a lot of love for it. Likely all of those factors can be seen when you look at my stuff! These days I use a 12.9" iPad Pro Gen5, Apple Pencil, Procreate, black tea and homegrown cannabis.

Deeply Loved -- A Procreate symmetry mandala with a Layer Mask

This is the most detailed mandala I've done, and the image I grabbed for the first layer turned out to be serendipitous :-)

I took a photo from a distance of these very shy feral cats sunning themselves and cropped it close, then painted it.

A trippy painting of the stone church on my block, floating on a small island in space.

When I first got a stylus and tablet in my hands, I made a lot of these "mosaic paintings". This was my favorite.

I wanted to try out a technique in Procreate using the Selection tool and 50% opacity on the brushes used for colors.

I took a photo in this spot where I used to hang out a lot, a few feet from the 800 AD ruins in Tulum, Q. Roo, MX, then painted it.

"Info Wave" -- Feeling that my head is too full with the stream of "content" -- "...Staccato signals and constant information..." (Paul Simon) I fooled around on the same canvas for a long time before "finding" this image :-)

I painted this from a photo I took of this plant, which I have a love for.

iPad/Procreate, inspired by looking at Norval Morrisseau paintings for weeks

I wanted to draw or paint something from a photo, and found this in the news. I’m trying to work on subjects that have some meaning and feeling for me. Procreate, iPad

I was working on this when the news was reporting on Daunte Wright's murder by police, so I dedicated it to him. Procreate, iPad and Apple Pencil.
