Hello! Thanks for dropping by. My birthplace is Australia but I now call Vienna, Austria my home.
Since living here I have become inspired to make art again after 30 years of not picking up a pencil or paintbrush. It is like learning to walk again!
I specialize in doodles, pen and ink, pencil drawing, watercolour.
This is based on a couple of lino cut prints, acrylic paint and gold ink. I have rediscovered my love of lino cut printing after many years and hope to do much more of it.
This was a photo taken by my friend in Australia of their back yard.
These rolling hills of color with some hidden gems.
This is the second lino cut print I made using motifs from my surroundings here in Vienna, Austria. I enjoyed learning this when I was in Art College in Australia back in the day and my passion is now re emerging for it.
Watercolor based mixed media with heart.
Done while waiting for a friend.
Remembering how to use watercolours again.
This was an exercise that I think worked out very well and motivated me to keep going.
Letting my imagination flow.
A way of working through my recent rona.
Started as a dream, ended as a painting.
One of my online class projects. I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
This quick sketch was done at the beach restaurant after a lunch.
This came out of nowhere. Using coloured pencils, Zig Art and Graphic twins, watercolours, Micron fineliners. Well, everything I had at the time!
Some fun little panels to loosen my style.
One of my first doodles using my new Micra fineliners.
Sometimes I just like to start and see where I am taken.
One of my first urban sketches.
This is a fun little A5 watercolor, color pencil, acrylic ink and fineliner doodle that just flowed and developed.
