Daily sketching is one of the best habits every artist should build.   The second important habit is sharing your work. It doesn't matter if it's a sketch, a work in progress, or finished artwork. Just share!

One object - a few variations. Experimenting unleashes creativity.

Autumn

Doodling in a sketchbook is very stress-relieving and calming. I recommend it to everyone :) You don't need any artistic skills. All you need is paper and a pen :) Or a sketchbook and a fountain pen with purple ink, as in my case.

I really like to experiment. This time I created a mixed media artwork - lemons :)

Do you have your own workspace? Lucky you. So am I too :) Remember: surrounding yourself with positive things gives you energy. And one more thing: less is more :)

I've started an experimental phase of my art journey. It's a challenging time for me. I try to draw and paint using different techniques, brushes, and color palettes. I'm on the way to exploring my artistic voice. I hope it'll be a great time to share my thought and emotions about this. The 1st thought I can say is: I need to be an explorer as often as possible. It allows me to look inside myself. It allows me to get to know myself better. It's very motivating.

Drawing water with reflections was a new challenge for me. I decided to use a less saturated color palette. It looks like a foggy atmosphere around the forest. Something different

Mommy tree and her daughter. I hope they'll always be close to each other. Pushing yourself to the next level is a great experience. I did it today by drawing this illustration. It's what happened to me: - I created effects I've never done before, - my creativity reached its new highs, - I developed new painting skills, - I'm still feeling amazing. Don't try to make things perfect. They will be never perfect. Have a creative weekend!

Patience - is so important thing in our life. It is so easy to forget about it... Be patient :)

Wake up your creativity! Take a piece of paper, something to write on, and draw a few lines/circles/squiggles. Then more and more, and so on... Let your imagination run wild. You can create something beautiful out of nothing.

Daily drawing is a super important artist's habit. Even 2-3 minutes is enough to build it into the everyday routine. Happy drawing!

I love hilly landscapes. But I'm not good at drawing them. The one thing that I should do is practice. I have to take a sketchbook and draw/paint 100 mountains. The trees also could be better. I failed by drawing details on this illustration. Day 11 of #whimsicalByMamaminia art challenge.

I changed the composition, types of silhouettes, and background texture a few times. I didn't have any expectations about the finished work. It was a creative flow with many changes. I think the creative process looks like this. Don't be afraid to try. If you make your art digitally, it's simple. You can: - create a new layer, - use shortcut Ctrl+Z. In traditional art, it depends on the art supplies you use. Sometimes you can try more times. Sometimes you need to start again. But any attempt is better than giving up.

Drawing florals in the landscape scenery was a pleasure I gave myself on Friday afternoon. Just a relaxing and creative process without any expectations is something every artist needs. Give yourself a bit of pleasure today
