Another version of lantern illustration. I wanted to redraw the last illustration. But I changed the concept while drawing. It's a beauty of creativity - it can surprise. The most important thing here is that I feel so happy when I draw illustrations in this style

Wake up your creativity! Take a piece of paper, something to write on, and draw a few lines/circles/squiggles. Then more and more, and so on... Let your imagination run wild. You can create something beautiful out of nothing.

Always surround yourself with passionate people. You can learn a lot from them. And draw something special for them. For my brother who loves cars

I feel only positive emotions after drawing this landscape. It's a bit wintery, snowy, and magical. I love the background texture. But I still need to work on the details. Recently, I discovered the miraculous power of gouache. I ordered paints a few days ago (still waiting for the shipment). That's why there are only digital versions for now. I have already purchased a course on the Domestika platform. I'm going to try my skills at traditional painting on paper. It will be a big challenge. Inspired by Ruth Wilshaw and her book "Creative Gouache" I tried to get a gouache effect in my digital illustration. I think I did it. I'm nicely surprised with the final look. That's why experimenting is so astonishing.

THINK OUT OF THE BOX. A powerful skill. Recipe? Get a couple of "regular and rational" attributes of something (a problem, question, thing, thought, etc.) and add a bit of abstract/thing unrelated to the topic.

This illustration tells me that I need to push myself forward. I was in my comfort zone while painting. And I didn't go out. It's an important lesson for me. I'm glad I can analyze it and draw conclusions.

I've started an experimental phase of my art journey. It's a challenging time for me. I try to draw and paint using different techniques, brushes, and color palettes. I'm on the way to exploring my artistic voice. I hope it'll be a great time to share my thought and emotions about this. The 1st thought I can say is: I need to be an explorer as often as possible. It allows me to look inside myself. It allows me to get to know myself better. It's very motivating.

They all together create a cohesive collection.

I drew this illustration without any expectations. It's not perfect, but I'm happy I created it. And I share it. Perfectionism destroys your creativity and productivity!

I'm not prepared for today's whimsical illustration. But I'll share the last illustration for my website. I'm going to launch it in a few days.

Doodling in a sketchbook is very stress-relieving and calming. I recommend it to everyone :) You don't need any artistic skills. All you need is paper and a pen :) Or a sketchbook and a fountain pen with purple ink, as in my case.

It's my third illustration with a lantern theme. I had doubts while drawing this illustration. I changed the concept a few times. And I'm not sure if I got the expected effect. But I'm not afraid to share it and say: "this illustration could be better." It gives me the motivation to work harder. It gives me reasons to push myself forward. Have a creative weekend!

Mommy tree and her daughter. I hope they'll always be close to each other. Pushing yourself to the next level is a great experience. I did it today by drawing this illustration. It's what happened to me: - I created effects I've never done before, - my creativity reached its new highs, - I developed new painting skills, - I'm still feeling amazing. Daily drawing is a super important artist's habit. Even 2-3 minutes is enough to build it into the everyday routine. Happy drawing!
