M is for Masstransitscope. Masstransitscope is a zooetrope made by Bill Brand in 80s. Now restored and enjoyed on the B line going from Brooklyn to Manhattan. It never fails to make me happy.

M is for Maurice. Had a lovely conversation with Maurice. New York at its best!

R is for ratty. Saw the tailless rat again. Thanks to the subway tardiness I got to watch for a while. Very entertaining!

Morning play. Watercolor paper tests with random colors. Ink on top to make each into a drawing. It was harder than usual today. Haven't done thise exercise in too long.

It's a perfect day to spend all day on the phone. Call someone you love! For the young : to me the iconic phone is still the old phone with the cord.

It's a perfect day to go the library and sit in the spot of the sunshine surrounded by books.

It's a perfect day for a Portuguese Tart. My favorite one is from Showroom Bakehouse. Melts in your mouth and is a tiny piece of decadence.

It's a perfect day to read a book written by your friend. My friends book right now is "Projections" by S. Porter. Her book is so good! It is dark and fascinating and so well researched. It's a perfect day to watch a quarrel between a rat sentry and a tailless rat. Thank goodness, F train was running poorly so I could watch this for 10 min.

It's a good day to go to a concert. Robert Dick and Dan Blake performing at 2B & 2C Gallery. So ok, this was a few days ago. Plus is their album Laugh and Lie Down for which I made the cover.
