Marcy Hamilton's Faves

Here's a test drawing made in Adobe Fresco & Photoshop on the iPad. What an outstanding app! The brushes feel incredible.

There's a phone in Graham's Up the Tree and kids will have no clue what they're looking at or how those "buttons" work.

"It's Pandolin Coraflot, riding the most anatomically correct horse ever drawn." Ink drawing colored with Paintstorm Studio & Photoshop.

There's a big drop of black ink spilled near the center... It's like that bit of ink just couldn't wait to be part of the art. Sometimes a rough sketch takes on a life of its own.

Sketched in Rebelle. Inked with a fountain pen. Colored in Rebelle & Photoshop.

He sits up in his teacup with his hands wrapped 'round a porg, Thinking up new ways to join forces with the Borg. To eradicate the Rebels by infecting them with spores, And assimilate the hive mind to become one with the Force.

"Robot Manflower." 8x8 ink and watercolor. New discovery: Noodlers 54th Massachusetts Ink (watered down) works incredibly well for painting shadows/value before the watercolor. Watercolor does not disturb that ink! Drawn with a Pilot Custom 743 EF with De Atramentis Document Ink Black.

Have no fear! I haven't lost my head- I have it right here. And my neck has a hole where you can pour the beer. So do me a favor, dear. Pour it in with a cheer.

Drawn on my new iPad Pro using Procreate. This is quite an app.

The man with a vast red hat met a flower on the pad and asked, "Are you my dad?" The flower said, "No. I'm not the one, but I'll pretend I'm your dad if you'll pretend you're my sun."

"A happy little planet but these aliens have landed and seem to be taking people away." A watercolored fountain pen drawing in my Moleskine sketchbook.

6x6in, acrylic on canvas, completed in 3 days. No name, no identification, just a date. It's neither here nor there.
