Glaucomys sabrinus, northern flying squirrel has belly fur that is gray at the base. Flying squirrels might more appropriately be called “gliding squirrels” because they aren’t capable of true powered flight that a pterosaur, a bird or a bat can do. This is our husky named Shasta and was drawn in Photo Shop using the brush tool. I find the more I create using my computer the more inspired I am to return to the project at a later date. If I would have drawn this on sketch paper it would be lost in my piles of sketches and might never even get shared with anyone.
Taking this pic was challenging finding the right light for the moon and the stars pop up more imo and my frog was hard to color but I love how the lake came out with the shines from the moon and fireflies. I even took the time to paint some tall grass and reeds in the background ^^ hope you like!
Just a small collection of my abstract stuff. They were quite fun to make. Incorporated a lot of palette knife techniques on these. Its actually pretty fun! But I could def use some polishing. Still, these were fun.
My amazing boyfriend. ^^ first time doing this kind of painting. Thought it came out pretty good ^^ blending became challenging particularly for the shines of the skin. But over all, Im pretty happy with it ^^ hope you like it ✌
