This is my version of one of the submissions in the doodle challenge, Drawn opposites! Hope ya like it!

Pastel on pastelmat, one of my favourite cats: the Somali. First attempt to draw a cat in pastel, almost a year ago.

I wax specific areas (paint with wax) and light from the back...in the end it will be in a glass frame to hang in a window....tben the waxed areas will glow!!!

Watercolor and India Ink on Yupo paper. If there is any single way to let go of detail and think simply, it is by using watercolor on Yupo paper. You basically have to surrender control and just see what happens.

I don't just draw animal portraits! Although it seems tat way at the moment! I did one and it kind of snowballed!!! This one is part of a series of illustrations that tell the story of Hansel & Gretel.

After so many near scientific animal paintings, this was a break.

45/100 of my nature illo themed 100 Day Project. I started my challenge drawing only on my iPad but hit some bumps when I forgot my Apple Pencil in Florida (I live in California). With that, I have been getting reacquainted with my sketchbook which has been set aside for a few months until now. Feels good to get back into it. Everytime I come back to painting, I wonder why I ever paused in the first place.

This is an original acrylic painting. This is a collage of information meant to maximize the intensity of the calmness of the animal.

I don’t know I just did it and now I want to share it, I guess.
