This sketchbook spread features a stylized pattern of colorful poppy flowers. The garden of flowers includes leaves of green, yellow and peach. The flowers are yellow with blue stems. The drawing as a whole has a whimsical and playful feel with a bright color scheme, polka dots and organic squiggle shapes, and blobs of seemingly random colors. Inktober
Day 5 (Map)
If you are doing Inktober, is there a specific time that you post your drawings I post when i remember to post but I try to do it before night comes.
Suppose that 'meaning' is a faint word scribbled on a wall in a dark room. The words that we use are often barriers that separate, then, our 'comprehension' from 'meaning.'
Let us suppose then that the light of the intention of a speaker is obscured by a 'word.' The angle and setup of that intention then, along with the angle and setup of the comprehension of the listener, can distort or disguise the true meaning of what the speaker is saying.
Of course, the angle and setup of these things can vary greatly, just as easily as the shadows that cover 'meaning' can vary. It would seem best, then, with this in mind, to communicate as transparently as possible and to avoid and/or to detect deceit whenever possible. Dishonesty and misdirection, whether deliberate or otherwise, in the speaker or in the listener, always risk shrouding 'meaning.'
When communicating earnestly, distraction can be dangerous. Shrewdness is recommended.
These anxiety-free art prompts will encourage you to draw for the sheer fun of it. If you’re looking to fall in love with art all over again and have a blast while you’re doing it, our weekly drawing prompts are the solution for you!
This is the first work conceptualized and created by Katrina Greidanus in the Anime character design project in the famous Anime Studio and I used PaintTool SAI to be able to create it and then I published it on Doodle Addicts on February 25, 2022 as a souvenir.

(0.18 Technical Pen on 130mm x 35mm card) I did these with a tech pen I was cleaning, deciding to make use of the ink that was diluted within it. The pieces of card were off-cuts, so I was making the best of everything there. They're not too bad for what they are and make decent enough bookmarks.

Day 3(Path)
Year 2
For this one I was really stuck because there are so many ways to draw the word Path because path has different meanings to it . But I ultimately decided to draw a Stone path after some inspiration on Pintrest
"much of the to-do of life is like building sand castles on the beach. we build them up, and then we take them down. OR we build them up, and the waves of life and time take them down.
life returns us to our humble origins."
Drawing done on A6 sketch paper 90 g/m2 using Uni pin fineliners, pen ink and green crayon. Started drawing pointy corners and areas to fill later and along the way I got inspired to do something similar to the ring of Green Lantern from DC. A friend of mine said the drawing makes her think of energy and fury.
This painting was done with the Tuscan style in mind. The Tuscan style favors a rustic look. To me this never goes out of style because it’s as if the new and the old have found a common medium and have agreed to blend so well. There’s plenty of green, beautiful grass. The windows are complimented by the various colors of flowers that are perfectly placed below them. I love how there’s a table set outside of the building with a string of lights (even more beautiful at night) for people to enjoy the scenery as they eat some tasty, authentic Italian cuisines. There’s a group of people walking past the wall of yellow flowers and vines on the way to the inside of the building. In this scene, the ladies are wearing some long, beautiful dresses with gentlemen by their side to accompany them. This gives the impression that this group is out to have a good time. The white birds tops it off in this painting by giving it an inviting feel...”a moment to remember” feeling.
I love the versatility of acrylic paint. You can change the consistency by adding water or acrylic mediums. These additions enable artists to create transparent glazes or thick impasto textures. The fast-drying nature of acrylics makes it easier to correct mistakes or make alterations during the painting process. This painting is part of a three piece set featuring my favorite plants painted on a soft gradient background.

Some things I saw and drew but didn't share. A friendly dog who wanted to say hello, a bride and a groom on the way to the wedding waiting for the train (she wore plastic slides and had her high heels in the bag), a lost cicada, a book (Sula by Toni Morison was absolutely amazing). Oh and also using dry ice to make dramatic seltzer.
One of my oldest mascots/toonsonas, a combination of "Spongebob Squarepants" and Miles "Tails" Prower. As a bonus, here's a link to the drawing video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YVxpfnwCEA&t=237s
Another attempt at utilizing varied line density. I think it came out better than the previous attempt, since the lines aren't too thick. I didn't really know what to do with this one, so it kind of feels bland as a result.
Dreaming of that face again, its bright and blue and shimmering. Grinning wide, and comforting me with its three warm and wild eyes — tool - third eye (#embracingnightmares)
Finally im doing an style challenge thats been on the internet for almost a decade now. Drawing a charachter in the styles of different media i enjoy. This are the first two, anyone want to guess wich styles i tried to copy here?
