art

It has been a while since my last upload, and also since my last finished thing. My studies aren’t giving me much free time at the moment. But here‘s a little practice for painting digital using Procreate on the iPad. I’m still not statisfied with it, but I keep practicing. Thank you for looking at my trial!!! :-)

The Garden Roan, horse and base made from Super Sculpey, painted with Acrylic Gouache. This guy was one of my first sculptures. Inspired by nature and the beauty of my favourite animals, the horse!

Played around with some brushes in this one

Practicing trees and experimenting with different colour schemes...when I started, it was supposed to be an oak but it’s a happy mistake ^.^

An older practise piece

The Seasons. Acrylic Gouache on Wood Skateboard Deck. 7.75” x 32” Almost finished! I’ll be donating this hand-painted skateboard deck to support the Kansas City Artists Coalition’s 37th Annual Benefit Art Auction taking place on February 29, 2020. This is an extension of my steam of consciousness sketchbook practice. Having fun!

A digital landscape I made with photoshop

Bought some Bardot brushes recently and I love them! Here is yet another cat using the COPICat markers.

Doodled Bookmark #2. Size: 2" x 6". Fun little doodle with Micron pens.

Maine Coon Kitten, drawn with fineliners and alcohol markers. Took 3 and a half hours to complete. Super happy with how this came out, it was my first time using alcohol markers for an artwork.

Artrage illustration

In my this artwork I have shown a tree with flowers on it describing it as that nature seems beautiful with simplicity.

Hope everyone's day is filled with joy and love!

An urban sketching thingie from October. Drawn in about an hour as a part of Edinburgh Urban Sketchers meetup. Conte on A4.

Here another fox drawing... this time digital. I drew with a Samsung note phone about "artflow"

I decided to participate in Folktale Week this year, as it was the first I’d heard of it. This is the submission for the prompt “Home”.

first snow inspired doodle

Still behind but whatever :P Day 2: mindless. I had an idea for this prompt and will probably still do it, but this is a doodle I just mindlessly did on the front of my sketchbook. No thought to these I just doodle this same snarling, twisted mass when I just randomly doodle. #viowolf #vioart #vioarts #vioartstudio #vio #art #artist #inktober2019 #inktober #mindless #doodles #sketchbook #ballpointpen #monstermaker #monsters #teeth #horror #macabraart #twisted #instagramstories #Halloween #October #fearcon2019 #fearcon #supporlocalartists #darkart #artistoftwitter #artistoffacebook #artistofinstagram #artistoftumblr
